چکیده
Camera motion introduces spatially varying blur due to the depth changes in 3D world. This work investigates scene configurations where such is produced under parallax camera motion. We present a simple, yet accurate, Image Compositing Blur (ICB) model for depth-dependent blur. The (forward) produces realistic from single image, map, and trajectory. Furthermore, we utilize ICB model, combined with coordinate-based MLP, learn sharp neural representation blurred input. Experimental results are reported synthetic real examples. verify that forward computationally efficient blur, despite lack of occlusion information. Additionally, our method restoring proves be competitive approach deblurring task.

Using Opaque Image Blur for Real-Time Depth-of-Field Rendering and Image-Based Motion Blur
While depth of field is an important cinematographic means, its use in real-time computer graphics is still limited by the computational costs that are necessary to achieve a sufficient image quality. Specifically, color bleeding artifacts between objects at different depths are most effectively avoided by a decomposition into sub-images and the independent blurring of each sub-image. This deco...
متن کاملMotion parallax thresholds for unambiguous depth perception
The perception of unambiguous depth from motion parallax arises from the neural integration of retinal image motion and extra-retinal eye movement signals. It is only recently that these parameters have been articulated in the form of the motion/pursuit ratio. In the current study, we explored the lower limits of the parameter space in which observers could accurately perform near/far relative ...

متن کاملBlur-Aware Image Downsampling
Resizing to a lower resolution can alter the appearance of an image. In particular, downsampling an image causes blurred regions to appear sharper. It is useful at times to create a downsampled version of the image that gives the same impression as the original, such as for digital camera viewfinders. To understand the effect of blur on image appearance at different image sizes, we conduct a pe...
